Count Nicolò Rota was an Educator, Archaeologist, Meritorious for the art and antiquities of Trieste and, as part of the work of protecting works of art conducted during the Second World War, he received the post of manager of the transport of the works of art at Villa Manin di Passariano for the Trieste area.
