UNPA

The National Union Anti-Air Warfare (UNPA), put under the control of the Ministry of War and the Ministry of the Interior, was founded in 1936 to help the activities of the national authorities for the anti-air warfare. Every provincial Committee of UNPA was presided by a Prefect. During Second World War, the Architect Miani was president of UNPA. With all of the other authorities involved, the UNPA collaborated for the protection of cultural heritage: it interacted with the Roiatti Company for the concession of vans for the transport of the works of art to Villa Manin and it expressed its opinion about the artworks´ transport to San Daniele.
