The topic of the exhibition falls within the project TransCultAA- Transfer of Cultural Objects in the Alpe Adria Region in the 20th Century, funded by the European Commission (HERA Joint Research Programme - Uses of the Past). The project involves German, Austrian, Croatian, Italian and Slovenian scholars, aiming at sheding light on the various, tangible and intangible, meanings connected with the circulation of cultural objects in the Alpe Adria area, during the 20th century, particularly as regards to the two world wars.
